Lost and Also Found
This painting was inspired by a personal journal that reflected on thoughts that are sometimes are conflicting and highlight that two things can be true at the same time. The sky and city scape is painted at the beginning of dusk, when the colours become unreal and both day and night seem to co-exist.
'So here I am, somewhere between the problems of the world below and the solutions above.
Sipping my tea, wondering what it might be like to live a different life, while trying to be grateful for the one I have.
Recognising time passes too quickly and yet being impatient for things still to come.
Feeling like an emotional tornado, while remaining calmy grounded.
Seeking perfection, but falling in love with failure. Knowing that’s where potential exists.’
