‘Take What You Need’
This painting is a milestone in a personal journey. I could have called it ‘she has bloomed’, but that wouldn’t tell the full story. This one is about sharing the gifts of growth with others. For me the gifts have been many, but most notably a change in my thinking and personality as I’ve learned a better way.
As an artist, I’m drawn to understanding different perspectives, but often I’ve struggled to truly examine my own. As a student of the Bible, I continue to try to develop what is described as the fruitage of the sprit… Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Mildness and Self-control.
I’m no where near any of these things, but I’ll share what I have with others because this world needs more of these things.
